    Summer is for Short Shorts

Summer is for short shorts. And white canvas shoes. Even though they still get dirty. These are my absolute favorites from Zara if you can find them in store…high-waisted and stretchy:)

    Coral, Mint and Floral

Just a few of my favorite things to brighten up the day:) Coral, mint and florals…Banana Republic cardigan, Target dress, Lulu’s watch, Target low pointed-toe heels, Target earrings. (Target tends to treat me well I guess! haha)

    It’s Maxi Dress Season!

Dinner on the patio. Warm air. Cool breeze. Maxi dress. It fits together so well. Paired this one from French Connection with tan wedges and my grandma’s pearls:)

    Spring Layers!

Because that’s what you need when it’s 30 degrees at the time you wake up and 60 degrees by the afternoon…layers! I love how Citizens of Humanity jeans fit, but they’re still a little expensive, so I have to choose wisely haha. But I was excited when these came up discounted on Rue La La since they are both high-waisted and floral…two of my favorite things! Sold. I had to balance out the print with some solid colors…a cream shirt and wedges (Cole Haan), coral cardigan (LOFT), blue scarf and over-sized light denim jacket (Forever 21). Done!

    Print and Pop

Love to add a little pop of color to my day (and my prints;), so went with polka dot pants (Target), a plain white tee (H&M), khaki wedges (Nine West), Forever 21 necklace, random bracelet, and a bright cardigan (Banana Republic) to top it off! Come on spring…

    Vintage Shoe Revival

I love vintage. You definitely have to be picky in your search and selection, but it carries some serious potential! I think it adds an element of timeless beauty to any look. I’ve collected a few pieces over the years that are always random discoveries, but so fun:) One being these brown leather pumps…the shoe was literally separated from the sole when I bought them (very cheaply I might add!). But I brought them to a shoe repair shop and they were able to completely remake the sole for maybe $20. The shoes were already perfectly worn in, I didn’t even get blisters, which is a rarity for me and heels. I had to…

The Brake Pad – Best Lunch Spot near the Airport

I rarely eat out for lunch while at work, but when I do, I love when they let me pick the place because that means we’re going to the Brake Pad haha. There are not many healthy, gluten-free friendly restaurants near the airport, so my choices are somewhat limited as is, however Brake Pad is definitely an exception! It’s located on Main Street in historic downtown College Park and occupies an old gas station (hence the name;) It has a great patio and I was lucky that it was warm enough the other day to sit outside and catch some sun! I order the same thing every time. Actually. The entire menu is delicious,…

    Polka Dots and Moto Boots

I love wearing long blouses because they are so easy and comfortable. Polka dots are always fun too:) Granted they do limit the colors I can wear with it, but I’ll manage haha. This day I went with tan skinny jeans and my old Moto boots (Forever 21). I love how some cheap shoes can actually be both cute and incredible comfy! Double bonus.

Sean’s Harvest Market: A Hidden Gem

Let me introduce you to one of my favorite spots in Atlanta, which not many people may know about! Sean’s Harvest Market is a small walk-up cafe in Amsterdam Walk, also conveniently located right off the new beltline by the Piedmont dog park! They’re open Tuesday through Saturday and everything is amazing – sandwiches, soups, salads, breakfasts, baked goods and my particular weakness….smoothies! I love trying them all, but my go to is the Lumber Jack – spinach, banana, blueberries, basil, maple, and then I’ll sub almond or coconut milk for the dairy…aka DELISH. A perfect start to my morning:) What makes it even better is that the fact it’s…
