    Coconut Berry Bowl

    It’s 70 and sunny in LA. And it’s February. Coming from Minnesota, I can handle this! I’ve stayed away from smoothies for a while, instead opting for cooked foods to ease my digestion and add warmth during the winter season. However it felt just right for today 🙂 I’m currently on a limited “autoimmune”-type nutritional protocol to reduce systemic inflammation and heal my gut, which means no nuts (or legumes – aka peanut butter…gasp!) for the time being. Oh how I miss them haha. But I can have everything coconut – oil, butter, yogurt, milk (the pure, unprocessed, whole fat kind) – and that is amazing. Adding to that amazingness…
