Complete Relaxation: Flot Spa and More

Thanks to a good friend, I had an incredible and relaxing Sunday experiencing some new spots around Atlanta!

First stop wasn’t new, but San Francisco Coffee Roasting Co happens to be one of my favorite coffee shops, especially because they have almond milk! Let’s me enjoy a good latte on a chilly day:)

Next was Flot Spa in Midtown. I’ve always been intrigued by the concept of “floating” once I learned about it – you essentially float weightlessly in pod of 12″ of dense Epsom-salt water and experience a sensory deprivation that allows you to completely relax.

Supposedly 1 hour of floating is equal to 4 hours of deep REM sleep. It was definitely a cool experience! There’s a Scoutmob right now too if you want to check it out:

Next up was my first ever foot massage. BEST $25 I have ever spent in my life. One hour. It was legit amazing. I don’t really have any more words for it. You’ll just have to experience it yourself! Buford Highway just inside the perimeter: Treat Your Feet Massage & Spa

Last was my first (again) taste of Vietnamese food…particularly rice paper wraps. And they were so so delicious. Even the leftovers made my day;) Chateau de Saigon if you want to try!

And that’s a wrap.
